Miguel Race in the City of Buenos Aires

Posted February 17, 2011
By Prof. Pedro Hugo Tavosnanska

Coordinator of the Sports, Recreation, Physical Education and Time Free Consultative Council of Civil Society of the Argentina Chancellery.

Regarding statements by the Secretary of State for Sport of the Nation, Claudio Morresi, Argentine Time (published on 10 February 2011), I beg to differ and have a discussion. Race Miguel, we agree, is the memory of Miguel Sanchez, athlete arrested last disappeared as a result of civil-military coup in Argentina. Berazategui Miguel was kidnapped in the province of Buenos Aires, the return of running the San Silvestre Marathon in San Pablo, Brazil. I beg to differ with the Minister of Sport for its non-institutional support to the Career of Michael, which takes place three days after the anniversary of the coup, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, capital of all of Argentina. Therefore invited to participate on March 27 and to lift up high the pictures for fellow athletes, students and PE teachers disappeared and murdered by the dictatorship in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and in homage to Cuban athletes killed in the vile terrorist act Cubana airliner in 1976, known as the "Crime of Barbados." Running for Physical Education teachers from Uruguay and Spain, who disappeared in Chile, confirming the Operation Condor. This race is already a cultural activity of the body people in the city and the province of Buenos Aires. Citizens have taken it and made it theirs. I do not feel represented by government securities Mauricio Macri, but memory is of people who walk and run for Truth and Justice in all countries of MERCOSUR, UNASUR and Latin America. View Source

Jael Uribe bursts into internationally carrying on their shoulders the Magic Tribe

For Clodomiro Carpenter

begun a leadership Jael Uribe unusual, truly amazing, which is offering to the Hispanic literary community a high quality demonstration of Dominican women. Currently the literature is a leading light in the world of globalization. Writers of the world, different languages, are organizing a successful and joy conferences, virtual meetings with a plural result too large in every way. These virtual meetings are regularly promoted by strong institutions, universities, associations, organized groups in order. Jael Uribe achieved by itself bring your redo ra
women writers, poets, many countries, making it alone, the organization Women Poets Movement International (MPI) and organized the First International Poetry Festival "Women Cry ', to be held throughout the month of March. She falls to the country with extraordinary strength in the concert of rallies that has the global creative writing on the net. Cultural Agenda Review and veins, with real joy, with enthusiasm, give all the space and all the treasure of our experienced editorial Movement International Women Poets. And here's the first show to this interview with this new diva Dominican committed poetry. Of a lot to give, this is the first.

CM .- How and when did the Movement Women Poets International (MPI)?

JU .- Women Poets Group International (MPI) was created by a servant in November 2009 with
mple if intended to be an informative blog, where friends gathered talented poets from different countries that it had initiated some enlazábamos empathy and reciprocally to their posts and work to let us know each other. For reasons of time, and because I was collaborating with other groups and literary circles, he could not devote myself to the group but I had some projects he wanted to perform with him later. The page had a
des awakening in November 2010 and an impressive host 10,000 visitors in three months, when we announced the call for our First International
P Oesía "I am woman" in tribute to this and taking into poems include creating positive based on 10 categories of women. We had the participation of about 400 English-speaking women poets from around the world. From there, off the project with more force.

Since it appears that the adjective "international" should go after the word "Movement" because it is a "Movement" it sounds more logical, what is it that the 'International is the latest? You see we were

Women Poets Group International, a virtual gathering of international friends who shared poetry and blogs. We recently moving category because of the passion and force with which our poets members sympathized with our causes: Women and Poetry. We 'moved' so to speak, a crowd of both men and women willing to collaborate with the project, more than he ever dreamed. Women Poets is symbolic, as a mark of the international adds to specify a range or area of \u200b\u200boperations.

There is the emergence of a new development in Dominican literature, that a identifies, known to exist for their events, activities. Such is the case of Poets of the Age, successfully pushing Elsa Baez, and the same "Movement International Women Poets." If you can mention names of young poets and writers newcomers, what are they? What are members of the Movement Poets Women International?

participated in three meetings Poets of the Age and worked feverishly to Elsa Baez during the second activity, even I was the designer of the image that is greatly applauded the initiative because of its creator. Dominican youth have no means of promoting its literature, events and Poets was give us this unique opportunity for novice poets to share side by side with poets in history as friends, instead of knowing competition. Might mention to many young talents, friends, poets all that stand, including most of the participants of Poets of the Age. If you mention names and I forget any, would have problems with my friends (smile). It's nice to see so much young talent in a single space.

other hand, remember that the MPI works with various members by country, and that except for poetry events and other activities representative met not physically but virtually in our social networks. We collaborate with poets about 7 members in the Dominican Republic, two of them had the good fortune to be winners in our recently completed tender along with 16 other participants, they are Elizabeth Quezada (Passionate category winner) and Lucy Guzman Veras (Honorable Mention) . Besides they also form part of the poets Jennet MPI Tineo (Naranjita Green), Susan Gautreau, Grando Cristiane (Brazil Dominican) and Yesenia Sanchez Prandy. Dominican poets collaborate indirectly Dulce Urena, Lesbia Gómez, Karina Rieke and Mary Farazdel (Palitachi) both in the U.S., Good-will ambassadors in New York. On the other hand we have the support of our good-will ambassador and ardent collaborator in the country, the writer Ramón Saba.

continue with the Movement Women Poets ... It has an internal organization, a "ambassadors" and so forth. How is the organization and what it responds?

course! Without organization anything is possible. Although I am the principal thinking brain, I have the support and advice of collaborators who hold representative positions but are always willing to support us in the fight. This board is activated at key moments in which consensus is required for projects. Make up our Board of Directors Dominican physics at the Presidency, held by a servant, the Vice President in charge of Angelica Rodriguez Peláez widow, Eladio Uribe, Financial Advisor, Ioana Peláez, administrative assistant, and Emmanuel Mateo, Webmaster. In addition to some 32 ambassadors accredited to Good-will to work actively in the organization and promotion of our international events which are important part of our movement. Appointing a maximum of two ambassadors for the region in a country as they are added to the chain, depending on their degree of commitment to the cause. The point of this is to work on leadership, initiative and commitment of our poets members. Qualities that can be used for future projection. Even

are in "charge" men poets, like the poet Ramón Saba and a fat that's out there, do not you fear that some dirty old man or crawl out of tune as he does not care?

Ja, ja, ja! Honestly those old you mention are nothing more and nothing less than the 3 judges in our last poetry contest: Ramón Saba, poet and writer, Federico Bermúdez Jovine laureate writer, and Isael Perez General Manager of the Editorial Sanctuary in the Dominican Republic.

be honest, far from feeling any of these gentlemen out of tune or intrudes, I think it was an excellent addition to the program, the three have become avid contributors to the cause, especially breathed a sigh of relief after realizing that we are not sexist or support any organization that disparages the work of men in society ... Ha ha ha ha! We greatly appreciate his confidence in this "aspiring poet" and the unconditional support that they have received.

Tell me about the First International Poetry Festival "Cry of women." Obviously, the membership of women from many countries has been a verified through the network. How was the contact? How have relations been achieved so many women?

Project the festival is more a kind of campaign to the call of conscience, has recently been a greater rise in the net regarding the issue of "Non-violence" against women, no gender-based violence, and so on. As women, is a subject that touches us directly, because all we have somehow been directly or indirectly victims of this situation. This is our way of supporting the cause. We use the best weapon we have is poetry to say 'enough' and join not only virtually, but in a tangible manner to the fight against this scourge.

The First International Festival "Cry of Woman" has surprised us all, and I say surprised because we never thought that there was a greater need of poets in general to join a wonderful cause, the excitement we're having to start something between friends, in their homes, schools, jobs, ended up with a host higher and this makes us proud . Even thought about making the virtual festival in our Facebook users to engage those who can not attend any events (but that's a surprise, do not tell anyone. Heh, heh).

He had been with the 'noses stuck "squarely on the network, knowing another world, poets, writers from other genres, reading poetry, learning about the medium, and thus was consolidating an incredibly large network of contacts ... I did not know the power of information I had in hand, until I decided to use everything to try him for a noble purpose. I am proud to have a direct treatment through the network with the poets, but sometimes feel that I will take root in front of the computer (smile).

I have also seen that has an innovative organization, will be held in each country where representatives. Is there an established program? What will in each country?

The program is still in process, because believe it or not, will continue to add countries and regions, we are waiting for all programs in order to launch a general agenda of the festival, with their locations so that all stakeholders know where to turn for assistance and support. The work of our ambassadors has been commendable, worthy of applause, I hope that more institutions in their countries will echo and support this festival as they need, well worth the effort as the festival are being trained force initiative and good wishes from everyone.

The 'novel' that has not included higher expenses, such as those incurred in travel, as if the festival is celebrated in every country the members of each country do not have to travel to other countries to become a reality. Is it so?

So, was the main idea for you can not travel. Local poets attending the festival guests in these countries, but our members have a special and outstanding participation in festivals. We have linked our ambassadors to the poets of the movement that they are close, so take care to give them their rightful place. On the other hand, some poets have expressed their interest to attend the closing event here in the Dominican Republic, most notably the winners of our contest. How nice that you mention it of funds, because we'd love to have the assistance of an institution that helped us paying for the travel of at least a few of our 10 winners of the contest and / or any of the 8 entries of honor, this more than anything, would be the prize of their lives.

Activities will be held in each country in March. Do you have to do with the celebration in March International Women's Day? Was it chance or other circumstances?

Precisely. I do not believe in chance, nothing is coincidence. I think you have to seize opportunities for what you do and we know that March is the best opportunity. The festival is allusive to the topic of women. It was designed with the aim to conclude during the month of March is the month, and is prepared under the theme of "No Violence" and against it. Different activities will be undertaken in each country included plus it will take place in more than one city or province in a few. The poems submitted should be about women, for women, or against this violence. Involving both men and women depending on the agenda for the country. In the Dominican Republic, will be giving special place to our women poets of the MPI, but a few local poets participating guests, men and women. (I hope that more women than men for the obvious).

The Movement blog says there are 16 countries participating. They are Luxembourg, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Panama, Argentina, Ecuador, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Chile, Dominican Republic Dominicana, Uruguay and the United States. In the past days have been joined by other nations?

Today just confirmed to us Valparaíso-Chile and United States (New York and Miami). Poets of the Diaspora to join us much honor. Karina Rieke via our ambassadors and Mary Farazdel (Palitachi), it is rumored there that is Switzerland, but not yet confirmed, as always expect local reserves is a constraint for many organizations.

Closing the festival will be held in our country, MPI headquarters on March 26, in Santo Domingo. How is expected to be? How come this case representatives of other countries? We

involve the members of MPI poets Dominican Dominican poets guests, including leading figures and some talented newcomers, but we expect most women. An occasional musical act and / or performance, but more importantly highlight the value of women in society, women's work in poetry, the theme of nonviolence against it and especially the interest of giving know the MPI in Dominican beyond the virtual boundaries.

As for the international representatives, we have about 6 women members who expressed their desire to go directly to fund their own travel, as do other procedures in search of financing institutions, some other representatives of the press in their countries want to be present because they have the possibility of being funded. We have sent letters of invitation waiting for some cultural institutions in their countries support it. We are awaiting confirmation.

're the president of the organization. You're the founder, creator, what is your quality, woman? I have heard that you are a poet. Do you have a book published? What do you have printed on paper? What's on your network? What do you have in the pipeline? Who's Jael Uribe?

The truth, I would not have publicly offered to share my writings Never in a million years! Ja, ja, ja. I blame my best friends since childhood because of incentive for them today I am less "stingy" and share some things here and there. I have no own publications, publishers say that poetry does not pay, I can not believe in a novel writer, I hope soon we can show otherwise. I've compiled based on the results of the competition and some 130 members and great poets among pre-selected the first anthology of poetry entitled MPI "I am woman", as in the contest, as a tribute to them, focusing on the 10 qualities of a woman winners in the contest. It also carry the message of "nonviolence" is a beautiful number suggestive cover for which we are seeking sponsors to make it a reality.

I have participated in several collections both nationally and internationally, and it is rumored there that this year will be more than you imagine me as some of the participating countries will anthologies with all participants of the festival, plus some other surprises they are walking. Note that you have thought telling people I'm a good poet, "What things, no? (Smile).

write since I have memory, thanks to the habit of reading my father taught me always. I am a person of simple language, quick-witted and very happy, totally greedy knowledge, not to intellectualize, or fill out "my hard drive" of information to brag, but to satisfy my own soul and learning, and unlearning things I learn on the fly.

I have the soul of a girl who believes that everything can be achieved with the price of an effort, he does not know "little dream" and he learned many trades and empirical self-taught, in the end did not know that I would to practice. Finally, I found a way to channel all I know to what I like and appreciate: Write and defend cases. I used as my technological knowledge and various areas to implement in order to provide support dissemination of the work of women poets speaking in addition to MPI, as well as providing the technological tools, needed to transfer to other borders and these worthy representatives of the letters, learn to use them and continue cultivating poetry. I

Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Designer, Decorator, Translator, Storyteller, Poet, and I swear I do not know how many things I do not conceited, I just met. What I do know with certainty is that I am a very happy (smile).

Vitamin And Nail Growth

Dominican poetry of Claribel Alegria

I must confess I did not know the literary career of Claribel Alegria, until Paul Benitez, Salvadoran poet gave me a book of her own: "Magic People."

For Dira Martínez Mendoza

In the book's dedication, Paul points out that Alegria is one of the most beloved writers and poets of El Salvador.

Clara Isabel Alegría was born in Nicaragua in 1924, but at 9 months, his family moved to El Salvador forced into exile by the dictatorship of Somoza.

The intellectual Mexican Jose Vasconcelos, he gave his literary alias and also was a disciple of the English poet Juan Ramon Jimenez, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1956, his most popular and iconic is Platero and I, a lyrical story about life and death donkey Platero; story that many of us moved into childhood.

Magic Tribe is a simply written book, a book of few pages, very entertaining, but a book full of depth and emotion, a text that contains the experiences and recollections of his friends Claribel and writers. Shows the human side of Cortázar, referring to the July playfulness, his jokes, "La Maga" Rayuela, his poetry and nostalgia. Alegria

out of his personnel file, letters of José Vasconcelos, Juan Rulfo, Miguel Angel Asturias, Tito Augusto Monterroso, Roque Dalton, Salarrué Urtrecho José Coronel, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Robert Graves, and Julio Cortázar.

most emotional of the stories which I believe is in the book, is that moment when Clarissa hears of the death of Salvadoran poet Roque Dalton (1935-1975). I make a call informing her that they had killed Roque Alegria decide at that moment reading one of his poems to feel closer, opened a book at random and oddly appeared the following poem:

"When you know that I died not pronounce my name

Because death would stop and rest.

Your voice is the bell of your five senses, would be the thin

searched for my fog light.

When you know that I died, say foreign syllables. Pronounce

flower, bee, teardrop, bread, storm.

not let your lips find my eleven letters.

dream I have I loved, I've earned the silence.

not pronounce my name when you know that I died: from the dark earth

come by your voice.

not pronounce my name.

When you know that I am dead, do not pronounce my name. Claribel

when finished reading a poem by Roque, broke into tears, because he was perceived as a communication from the beyond.

According to the writer and poet, Roque had understood that his organization was "militarized" too, and urged flexibility. Apparently that was his mistake, for a fraction of their organization (ERP) were the ones who killed him in 1975. Another

memories of Joy is his literary relationship with Juan Ramon Jimenez, as he did write a thousand poems to improve and there is an experience that I personally found very interesting Alegria's visit in the company of Juan Ramón Jiménez you do to Ezra Pound was confined in a psychiatric hospital. At the end of World War II was captured by the United States. Ezra Pound admired Mussolini.

The poet Robert Graves (I, Claudius), lived in Deya and also shared Alegria and her husband. Graves apparently quite superstitious, said that to experience the muse, a poet should love a woman possessed by the moon. Said we had to make obeisance to the "White Goddess", to feel their protection and friendship, and eternal inspiration.

I thank Paul Benitez to give me this book, which contains not only human and interesting stories about famous writers. This book made me think a lot about what really unites us to the poets, the friendships that are cultivated over time, differences even when they are considering ideological issues, but precisely these experiences Alegria, is what my trial would be a good reminder, timely and necessary.

Alegria "has underlined the commitment to non-violent resistance against dictatorial regimes, wars and social injustices that have plagued their country of origin."

still a problem for mankind the matter of ideology, that far from leading to a safer place for everyone, we continue to bring to unexpected places, far and within ourselves, places full of violence, fear, hatred and division. A separate us poets often our personal contexts, our ideological attachments, the many books written or few, the exaltation of the ego or visceral opinions on any global conflict, but unites us and here lies the importance of poetry: love verses, the word, which builds bridges between a heart and another. I prefer to stay with it.

Thanks Paul, Dear "Hummingbird" for giving me lines Claribel been with me at this time. Nothing comes by chance ...
