In the seventh and tenth commandments of the Law of God.

"Do not steal, covet.

The seventh and tenth commandments are intended to protect property rights.

property law is legitimate because it is founded on the authority that God has given to man to do something to own and dispose of it.

The right to property is acquired lawfully by:

-for the first occupation of the thing, for their discovery or invention and work.

-by accession and by prescription.

-by succession or inheritance.

Four ways unjustly take what belongs to others: the theft, with the prey, with fraud and usury.

Theft is the act by which the alien is removed secretly from the rational will of its owner.

Prey is discovered and violently take over the alien.

Fraud is stealing by deceit.

Usury is unfair to require an excessive interest in an amount borrowed.

wrongfully withholds the alien is:

-no restoring what has been stolen or acquired through unfair procedures

culpably -not paying debts and wages due

-taking things hidden with the intention of not returning.

can damage the neighbor's property in other ways such as killing or injuring animals belonging to another, damaging the affairs of others entrusted to our care, preventing any gain fair litigation or cause to others lacking basic processes, etc.

who has stolen or damaged the neighbor's property is required to restore and repair the damage.

heirs ill-gotten goods are obliged to return them.

should return as soon as possible because the longer it takes, the more severe the damage.

The tenth commandment forbids the desire to appropriate the property of others unjustly.
